Newsletter 1 (June 2014)

Hello. This is the first of our newsletters that will keep you up to date about what is happening around the Centre.

Firstly, a big thank you from all of us to everybody who has visited the centre since we opened. We have had over 1,000 visitors through our doors.

We have also held 60 experience days covering falconry days and afternoons, hawk walks, photography days and wedding ring deliveries. We have also visited schools and provided displays at both Ingleton and Cotherstone village fetes.

We would like to thank everybody who has taken the time out to write great reviews of their experiences on Trip Advisor. This culminated in May when we were awared a Certificate of Excellence.

We also had our first engagement on site when Chris proposed to Natasha after Frankie flew in through the woods with the ring!

 New Team Members

The following birds have arrived since we opened: Tawny Owl (George), Barn Owl (Percy) and Turkmenian Owl (Ted). We are also expecting a Lanner Falcon, Peregrine Falcon and Pere Saker Falcon to arrive shortly.

 New Experience

We have recently added Owl Encounters to our list of experience days. These last for two hours and concentrate solely on learning about and flying our range of owls. Dates for the experience are available from the Centre.

Sponsorship Package

We are now pleased to offer the opportunity to sponsor one of our birds for £55 per year. The sponsorship includes quarterly newsletters, one free entry to the Centre and photo opportunities with the bird. Contact the Centre for further details.
